I love the Samson. Well, if you have unlimited funds, the Green Star is the best...but Samson is similar and more affordable. It even makes oils!!
at www.juicefeasting.com theyve a page / video somewhere about how they juice with high speed blender . a cup or so of water and whatever your juicing and presto chango juice with no waste . and can add more water and strain it if want a really totally liquid juice . and to that end heres a link to bedbathbeyond , where theyve currently a holiday online special of %20 off one item with free shipping . well this links to their blendtec blender which is selling for 400 , but with %20 off and free shipping its only 320 , link =

I have a Breville Juicer I absolutely love that I got from Linens N Things. Since they are going out of business you should be able to get it really reasonable there. I also have a cuisinart citrus juicer I use when I fast.
hi morn :) , i was just out on hall road in lakeside mall area by the garden something mall . the plaza has the costco's store in it . and all the buildings are made of old bricks to make the mall look like an old city . well in that parking lot area theres a little bistro type place that says raw juices / smoothies and some other good sounding stuff i cant remember . its like a little sit down restraunt . so thought ide give ya a heads up in case your ever looking for a pit stop around there . and you ever hit the randazzos out at 23 and hayes , awesome produce store . happy holidays + misslindas happy fasting days quickly approaching :D
the name of that bistro may be rosies something or other , cant remeber because it was rush hour out on hall road when i left costcos and i got a dose of road rage in the heavily packed traffic which erased my mind of all previous memories of the day :D
ps - joanns fabrics is also in that plaza .
i lub my champion!!!
I have a Champion, but don't use it very often.
This is the one I just ordered today. I have researched and found this one to be a good company. I had the old centrifugal Omega years ago, it held up very well! I want the slower juicer as to keep it from heating up and loosing value to the juice. This one is a single auger. I am so excited to get it.
I have a breville that I love. I am emotionally involved with it because it got me through a 10 day juice fast. However... I feel like it wastes a lot. Sometimes I will run the pulp back through. I mean I can see juice sitting in the pulp area, so I do what I can to get it out. I think if I could afford one that could make oils I would go for that.
I love my Champion. Bought it used from a friend about 5 or 6 years ago and it works GREAT. Doesn't heat up even if I let it run while cutting up veggies. However, I rarely use it since green smoothies became a staple in my diet. Now I mainly use my Vita-Mix. So, if you think you'll make more smoothies than juice, you may want to look into something less expensive than a Champion. Just some food for thought. :)
Good to know! I need one too and being new to the state, still don't know where things are located. Apparently you live near me then! I'm a 20 min drive to Lakeside Mall even with the traffic, lol
Oh, did find Randazzos ... heaven! :)
I think the restaurant is called Sweet Janes? But I wonder if they are remodeling or out of business cause there was paper on the windows. Yes I shop at Randazzos often. I have been to the 23 mile store a lot in the past. I used to stop there after I worked out. I just went to the one at 16 and Garfield today. But most of the time I shop at the one at 11 and Gratiot because their pricing is so much better there. I wonder if I will ever run into you at Costco sometime. That would be cool to finally meet you in person!
Thanks everyone!! I have done more searching through the forum, and I have found that the most votes go to the omega! .... I am taking everyones opinions seriously though!! its a big purchase!!
8003 is white
8005 is chrome
I got the 8005 because it will look better in my kitchen, I plan to use it often and not have it in the cupboard. Only thing about it is, it will show finger prints easier but I will be cleaning it after use anyway. Otherwise that is the ONLY difference besides price. It is about 20-30 more for the chrome, it will sit next to my black colored Vitamix.
