What sprouts have the best yield and are cheapest??
Been trying to look this up but unable... Seems lentils and quinoa bulk up the most of all sprouts, and are cheapest to buy... or are there others?
What is the best way to prepare quinoa? All I can think of is putting them in green smoothies. Would it be good just mixed into bars with honey and dried fruit??
Thanks so much for your help.

I bought some sprouting seeds from Burpee.com three years ago...it was the 'zesty mix' with alfalfa, clover, broccoli and radish seeds. I took them out of storage last weekend to see if they'd still sprout...and lo and behold, they did! I used two tablespoons of seeds and sprouted them in a 28oz mason jar. They filled the jar nicely and they taste scrumptious! :D
They were not very expensive at all...I got a 1/4 pound package for about $5.99 I think...it lasts a very long time. Mountainroseherbs.com also has organic sprouting seeds in the $5-$6 range also.
Hope this helps!
