I've got four tomatoes, cantaloupes, sugar baby watermelons, squash, zucchini, bok choy, red bell peppers, hot peppers, chocolate mint, lime mint, spearmint, basil, strawberries, red and green chard and red shiso. Picking up cukes, radish, carrots and lettuce and spinach this weekend.
garden granny, I live in a tiny apartment also, any tips for me? I'm a very new gardener as well as very new to RAW. I'm thinking of lettuce, tomatoes, onions, corn and maybe strawberries. I got a tip from pamparred for a homemade earthbox, but the whats and hows of gardening, I'm still in the dark.
Thanks, in advanced!
I'm checking into getting a few blueberries plants. Anybody have a variety that they enjoy most? I usually pick wild. Probably still will, but it would be nice to have some in the yard.
I was out picking strawberries this weekend (everything is late here this year). Absolutely delicious. We ate a bunch and have frozen the rest. Hope to make it back out to pick enough to last the year....or at least a few months!!:)
I planted my first garden this year. I have tomatoes, zucchini, cucumber, swiss chard, parsely, watermelon, red and yellow bell peppers, black berries, rasberries, strawberries, chives, green onions, kale and most of the herbs. This is not the season for kale, but it does okay where I live.
