DITTO! Would love to be able to print out my own raw menu... and actually follow it! LOL.

This is what I needed to see to help me get back on the bandwagon. I think my biggest problem is planning out meals in advance with 4 kids 5 and under. I just need to make it a priority!
I love how you add the photos to your posts to help us visualize what you are talking about! :)
Ok, I cleaned the fridge today. Took all my raw goodness and removed it. And moved it to a better home. The garage. hah! We have an upright freezer and a side by side fridge out there. I removed the cooked foods from the refrigerator side and moved them to the kitchen for the SAD eaters. I claim the one half of the 2 refrigerators for tigger! AND the full sized freezer is not plugged in and now is converted into my raw storage for everything else. Was not being used anyway. Now the family has the entire kitchen with cabinets and fridge to themselves and I have my little space. Now if they can not keep themselves organized it will at least not be the demise of my fresh goodies!:) I HATE when I buy something and then it spoils because it gets buried under a pile of stuff!
And they can have some of my stuff IFF they put it away properly. They have their own bowls of fruits and veggies. Sound mean, don't I? But they are not interested in anything raw -- sorta the Mason/Dixon line of raw/sad here. hee! Their flag has a turkey leg on it, mine has fresh fruits! I share....but now I can find it! (and I do not have to see all the cooked things that would normally tempt me!;) )
Thanks for getting me motivated to get things in order!:D
AWWW.....thanks EPPP, I just don't have a printer :P.
EPP, thank you for your tips, you really are very organized.
The ONLY way I found to really organize my favorite recipies is to attatch the ones I like on the inside of my cubbord doors. Then all I have ta do is simply open one of my many doors to find the recipies waiting for me....:) They are all near my work areas so it's pretty convenient for me as I'm tall and the counters are too low as it is, and when I try to read a recipie from the counter, it's pretty difficult.
Wow, the storage system you've developed... tee hee, it's great.
Looks like you've got a well run kitchen there.
Love it! I do the same thing because I am tall (5'11) too! I always tape whatever recipe I am working on to the cupboard! And the few I use all the time I have taped to the inside. . .great minds think alike! My dream is to have a kitchen with all the counters raised about five inches higher with NO lower cabinet storage!!
Me, TOO!
I am 6' and my dream is to have my counters about 5" higher!!
Birds of a feather fly together.
What an awesome thread!! I am so inspired! :) Thanks EPPP for sharing your wonderful organizing tips.
I just came across a site for glass jars that I wanted to pass along to anyone who's interested. :) The prices are very reasonable. I personally have been looking for jars with a white lid instead of the 2 piece mason jar lids and was so excited to have come across this site. :)

All I got to say is.. EPPP you are the best!! :D
my kitchen is now... organised to the max!!:o
thus was a response I gave earlier and wanted to share it here too.
I carry a little photo book of fab raw food creations I have found on several raw sites & blogs to whip out and show people what amazing raw foods I can eat. This generally stops people dead in their tracks! I also have preprinted notes with great raw sites to give them at the same time and suggest they investigate further if they are interested about finding out more.
The more confidant you become with raw the less others opinions will bother you. Humans can be like wild animals; they sense when you are open to attack. If you carry yourself proud and not in an appologising manner you will end up informing people about raw instead of defending it!
Cheers,
EPPP
