my head is spinning...help me

buy a juicer. I have been up and down this forum and can't figure out what I want. I have read a billion sites and I am losing it...someone rescue me!

I have next to no money and this is a very big deal. For christmas I am getting a juicer. I want to make the best purchase I can as this is the first time in years I have even gotten anything from my dh.

I need one that does wheat grass and other greens with proficiency. I'd like to also do fruits and veggies, but greens/carrots are the most important. I want to hear personal experiences please. I had been looking at the solostar and omega 8003, now I'm second guessing myself. What do you like about your juicer and why? Anyone selling one? Is there a good way to find reputable used appliances?

It arrived yesterday afternoon, and my first glass of juice was worth the price of the juicer. Parsley, celery, granny smith apple, lemon, and carrot. I was overwhelmed with a feeling of Love? for my brand new juicer. I can do all but the parsley in my Juiceman, but no leaves. I forgot, I did the wheatgrass first, it was sweet and delicious, not like what I had been making in the blender strainer. The juicing is great, small feed tube though, the celery, apple and carrots have to be cut into sticks, easy to clean, assemble, and use. I also juiced kale, kohlrabi greens, and zuccini, it is so quiet. Everything else I tried to do today, was less than exciting, I'll go into that later. I want to make nut butters, ice cream, pates, and whatever else I can. You can read all about it, the instruction manual, etc. at one of the sites. I don't know how to do links.

THe omega 8003 is about $200 including shipping (which is free)
Solostar is a bit more...around $230.
I am also looking at the breville juicer, the L'equip mini and a lexen to do the greens. I'm thinking that will be the best of both worlds at this point. IN searching people love single and double augers, but not for soft stuff-for that they like centrifugal. So if I can do greens in the lexen and everything else in a centrifugal I guess that's the answer. It seems like the augers do everything okay but I want all the nutrients and the most bang for my buck in juice yield. I may be wrong, but at this stage it looks like centrifugal and a wheat grass juicer that handles all greens is the best bet.

It looks like I can get a decent centrifugal for around $100 and a lexen for about $45. Cheaper and it seems to be better...sigh. IT's a long search.

The augurs are better for greens than centrifugal.

IT died, but as I was up here searching my dh resurrected it. Sooooo, in light of that I think I will go with a single or double auger. People I know who use the Green Star are saying they'd prefer to do a single auger if they had it to do over again. For that reason I was staying away from the Green Star. Do you think I should rethink that? You've owned both types, right? Or am I making that up? I've read ALOT of posts.

You're asking me? Well, if you are:

I've owned 2 Champions, 1 Green Star, 1 Green Power and currently the Samson. The only singly augur I've used it the manual wheat grass juicer. I can't imagine anyone saying they'd want one augur instead of 2 ~ or why. Have they really used them?

Champion is good for hard stuff. It's a work horse. GREAT for carrots, beets and others of the like. I also liked it for "ice cream" and nut butters but since I don't make nut butters and can easily make "ice cream" in my fp, I don't need/want the Champion.

The double augers are slower on the hard stuff but they can do everything else such as greens, wheatgrass, etc. If I were to do it again, I'd go with the GS (or whatever they're calling it now). I think the intake is larger and the augurs are as well. Since I don't juice that much and have gotten use to it, I'll stick with my Samson.
