What does the manufacturer's book say?
Are you talking about baking bread?
What kind of Blendtec do you have? Mine is an Hp3 I believe, but the book I have is for a different older model.
I checked the manual again and the only thing I found was to use the speed key until the display reads "9". The cycle completes in about 50 seconds.
I guess I'll give that a try. I've never milled whole grains into flour before so I'm not sure what sort of flour consistency I should be looking for. I would think that the coarseness of flour whether coarse of fine would make a difference in baking bread?
Anyways, I have a total blender. I purchased it about a week ago so its probably the latest model. I believe the motor is about 3HP.
Yes, the Total Blender by Blendtec will make flour from grains, coffee from coffee beans, etc. (They also sell a mill that is cheaper and does this better.) Total is their consumer blender meant to be used non-commercially and so it carries a 3 year warranty as opposed to their commercial blenders. Both have the same power. I think they are breaking into the consumer market and are new to it. I just bought one at Costco where there is a roadshow going on at some of their locations and the Blendtec when bought at Costco comes with a 7 year warranty (and I think it includes the container as well!).
