... and the problem here is? :)
it was a tongue in cheek thread ... sorry :o I have always loved sprouts and now it's so much easier to find things to sprout than it used to be. I think I might do some peas this week and try them in a smoothie. Do they count as "greens"?

I love pea sprouts. When I grow peas I always sprout them before planting as it stops the mice. I always have to do extra cos I will eat as many as I plan to grow!

I'm sprouting broccoli at the moment (I hope) and I plan to throw them in my smoothie. I haven't found too many sprouts that I like, so just in case, in they go! :)
We have a lot of wild radish that grows round here -- well it may be a mustard, I'm not quite sure -- however ... the immature seed pods are amazing. They are soft and juicy with a hot kick that is lovely just picked and eaten on the hoof or added to salads. I keep meaning to save some seed to sprout but it's too late for this year I think :(
Lots of my sprouts don't get a chance to put on much growth before I eat them. I think I could probably do a month of just sprouts I like them so much :o
let me know ho you get on with the broccoli :)
