Thats a good idea and I am going to try that. I like it because it uses the whole food complete in its context. It also releases the contents of the apple seed from its perfect storage in the core of the apple into the smoothie, especially if you make the smoothie in a vitamix. Thats probably the easiest, fastest, and most efficient way to get the benefit of the apple seed's vitamin B17.

I just tried this and its delicious. I put enough cold water in my Vitamix to cover the blades and then added 1 complete apple and turned it on. Then as it was running I added ice thru the top. Thanks Chai, this is a great way to get B17. I'm going to get a complete apple a day from now on. :)
