Luna Pastel Review - Harrisburg, PA
Hubby and I recently were in Harrisburg. We were fortunate enough to stop at Luna Pastel Cafe. It is located in the Broad Street Market near Front Street. It is located in the rear of the market. There are a few little tables that are elegant and decorated with bamboo plants. The owner took our order and made everything to order - very fresh!
We tried:
Zuchinni noodles with coconut curry sauce - The sauce was nice, not too spicy. The noodles were perfect!
Southwest wrap - This was delicious! It had all kinds of veggies in a lettuce leaf. It was drizzled with a dressing that tasted just like ranch! So GOOD!
Luna-asagna - Veggies sliced and arranged with some pesto. On top was some type of white sauce which was delicious. This was served with a salad with great dressing!
Mock Meatloaf - Very tasty 'meatloaf' served with cauliflower that had been pureed and some type of saurkraut.
For dessert we tried 2 different types of truffles. One was chocolate coconut and it was insanely good! My husband ate all of it before I could get another bite. The other was really good too (I can't remember the exact name).
Everything was incredible! I would recommend this restaurant to anyone! Very friendly people and incredible food!
