I'd like to do a nice liver and kidney cleanse using juices. So far I'm thinking beet, carrot, asparagus, and parsley...anybody know any other super juices for cleansing the liver and kidney specifically??
Thanks! :o

Lemon too. Start your day with lemon water.
Dandelion and apple juice for liver. Watermelon for kidney. Lemon for both.
According to Smokey Santillo:
Liver- Carrot and apple juice, dandelion leaf
Kidneys- carrot, parsley, and apple
skin- beet with beet tops, celery, cuke, 1/4 potato
carrot and apple
blood-kale, parsley, ginger (small piece)
apple and carrot
bowel- spinach, apple and carrot
gas- cabbage, carrot and apple
lungs- carrot, parsley, 1/4 potato, watercress, ginger (one slice), mustard greens
adrenal- beet, beet tops, celery, romaine
glands-lettuce
stomach- fennel, cabbage, celery, and apple
bladder- all melon juices and (in combination) carrot, beet, cuke, and parsley
gallbladder- parsley, beet with tops, apple and celery
Wheatgrass.
Great info...just what I needed.
thanks!
if you can stomach it, throw a clove of garlic in with ur juice. its really good for you... something like what msm does.
i thought beets were blood cleansers?
I have both liver and kidney disease. Any juice that will make you swing toward alkaline is particularly good. I especially enjoy daily cabbage juice with almonds. I juice first an apple then without cleaning the juicer I juice the cabbage and add a handful of almonds. I follow the cabbage juice with an apple juice chaser. It also keeps hair its natural color, protect the DNA, and aids the metabolism of estrogen and estrogen by products through the liver. For the kidney in addition to the cabbage juice, a good juice is watermelon juice. If you are having frequent urinary tract infections or bladder infections then cranberry or all blueberry juice is the answer. I have this in the evening with a small one ounce of mineral water.

hi belladonna,
nice information
Papaya, ginger, cilantro, parsley, kale, spinach, carrot ,apple, hot peppers, cucumber & celery I think would be very good for liver & kidney.I'm going to try wheatgrass tonight, never had it.
My friend's mom is suffering a disease of kidney and she uses juice of beetroot, i have also seen her using juice of radish. I guess these two juices are good for some problem with kidneys.

say I want to make about 8 ounces of whatever green juice of my choice, how much garlic is enough garlic? I buy them fresh so do I put in half a whole garlic or what is better?
Personally, I don't like garlic in my juice. Perhaps I haven't found the right combination to try it with.
