If it were extended water fasting, that is a possibility, probably depending on which parasites you have. Most of them are likely food leeching, not systemic leeching. But I think just doing the herbs is way easier, and more certain. :o

Wow, if I had a friend like that, I'd want to pick his brain all the time. People come in with all kinds of horror shows going on within. Such a therapist is bound to see some very weird things on occasion. A colonic would always be helpful in flushing out parasites. Whether it thoroughly dislodges and removes them, I don't know. And that's just the colon. There's also the liver, which apparently is affected as well. :cool:

I'm doing the liver cleanse this evening. I'll keep everyone posted on how it goes. Also took some black walnut for potential parasite issues.

The last time I did a two week water fast, I...uh..expelled a bunch of worms at the end of it.

Did you get a good look at them? What kind do you think they were?

I thought of something. Isn't a person doing a parasite-cleansing detox supposed to abstain from eating fruit for the duration? I don't think I could do that this time of the year. Well, if I just get real Raw for now, I could do the tough cleanses later. But I'm guilty of kissing my dog and would like to do a parasite flush.......that's seriously a risk factor for getting tape worms from what I read.

Yeah, we have pets too and do all kinds of silly, affectionate things with them.
Stina, where did you hear this about not eating fruit during a parasite cleanse? I checked Hulda Clark's site and others and couldn't find anything about it. It would be good to know. :)

They were around 6-8 inches long, maybe roundworms.

Thanks KatK. I'm actually studying this stuff. I did the liver cleanse last night/this morning. I also took some black walnut to expel parasites, and will continue to. So far, no wormies. But I have begun to get a few green "stones." Actually they are not hard in the least but quite mushy, just like peas. Only some are bigger. They look like balls of vegetable matter but are actually green from liver bile. And some are larger than peas and more oblong in shape. I'll post pics later for those interested.

Makes all sense to me.:)

I started a parasite cleanse last week using Quantum Herbal Products. They have a website. Quantumherbalproducts.com Got it at my local health food store. Was experiencing symptoms in the night. Dropperful three times a day for a month or two. I wanted to speed up the process, and since I'm growing it anyway, decided to do a wheatgrass juice implant too. Now we're moving. Although I don't see any worms, mine I think are microscopic, I am expelling impacted fecal matter. Not a lot, cause pretty cleaned out with Raw for the last 7 months. But, I love the idea of cleaning my colon out from BOTH ends. And my partner in my business just started doing implants too. I also read where parasites thrive on sugar. I reduced my intake, but have not taken fruit out altogether. I'll keep you posted.....:cool:

Thank you, Raw Mom. I wish someone would start a cleanse thread for all cleanses, i.e. -- "The All-Cleanses Thread - Post Your Experience" -- for everyone to post together. That would be easier to follow, as it is so important for folks to be aware of their opportunities for health. Or maybe a dedicated thread for each kind of cleanse.

Please do keep us posted, particularly on the colon cleanse. I am heading that way and looking at options. I do my second liver cleanse next weekend and will be on an aggressive parasite cleanse.. even though I don't know if I have any.
