I have the Green Star, Vitamix, and the Jack LaLane........I use the Jack La. all the time. It juices just about everything, I love the wide mouth. It is also the Cheapest of the three. Hope you make the Right Choice for yourself.....

lol I am still totally indecisive. I went into my health food store yesterday and they had all three. I even asked the owner which one he liked the best and he was leaning towards the champion or the omega as the prices are better than the Green Star, but i could get the Green Star for about the same as the other two with taxes included. Oh I'm so confused! :rolleyes:
Got it! I got the Hippocrates Green Star juicer! I'm going to do a 5 day juice fast next week ( I have a few days off work). Any helpful ideas? I'm going to do a colon irrigation during the fast to help clear out the toxins.

and on juice fast ide suggest having lemons because many people use them for cleansing in a fast . in the mentioned thread juicing ideas and links to fasting sites are all logged .

Sounds great. I want to do mine on the 16th-20th of march. And trust me the dream machine was NOT CHEAP!! Even second hand! Oh well..I'm all set now. I have the Excalibur, the juicer, the cuisinart, the blender...off I go!
How long is the planned fast?
the planned fast has been called for by misslinda to start on the spring equinox = mar 21 .
but like last fast i started a few days before everyone else and you just start posting on the thread misslinda creates to get the ball rolling . i quit at 20 days , misslindas still going at like 55 . so everyone just goes their own distance and utilizes the thread to back each other up and exchange info / experiences .
and im wondering if you like your cuisinart blender , because ive been considering the one that sells for about $100 . is that the one you got .
does it have more power then the basic $30 types .
Michigan roman, yes I have the 11 cup processor and the 3 cup mini. I paid over $200 for the 11 cup - keep in mind thats CDN funds too. I really like it tho, it comes with the grating disc and the slicing disc so making zucchini chips is a breeze and shredding veggies takes seconds. I use my little one to grind/chop nuts and small items. I find the bigger one def has more power, but it also has more 'extras' you can get - ie more discs (julienne, smaller or thicker slicers, etc)...the small one only comes with the S-blade.
Hope that helps! Oh and I did the comparison between the cuisinart and the Kenmore and the cuisinart is hands down superior.

i just bought the omega 8005 . it is easy to clean and can do wheatgrass. i love it. i had a champion before and it was not so easy to clean and big and heavy, but it was older. good luck on your search. i did my research first and i paid 259.00 that included my shipping. :D
