I am interested in Gerson Therapy right now, because I know quite a few people with cancer, and it mentions, that even juicers as Champion do not produce good enough juice for it to have curing properties - it leaves too much nutrients in the pulp. They mention juice presses like K & K or Welles People Juice press. Do any of you know anything about it or use one - how much I understand they are heavy hand presses(non-elektric).
Last I heard the K & K was running about $1200. It's a 2-part process and way more work than the Green Life/Power (whatever they're calling it now) or Samson juicers.
People have healed themselves of many things using a Champion. It may not be the BEST yet, for carrots it's a workhorse and one I'd recommend.
One has to look at things long-term. Most people wont juice once per day much less take the time to juice 3-5 times a day AND do it w/ a press which requires even more time, cleaning, etc.

So it is more work? Have you actually used it? I am also interested becuase my 3 year old son gets a fit whenever I use my(cheap model centrifugal one) and that one is handmodel, so it would be not loud.
The price is not that high now - around 300-400, although comercial model witha name Northwalk or something similar is around 2000 dollars.
Sure. Hand grinding and then pressing as opposed to putting it in the juicer, letting it come out the other end and drinking? Then clean clean up is an issue as well.Quote:

Thank, you, so much Revvell. I am thinking and searching still. I just found some smaller juice presses(50-60$), but there is a problem - they are made of aluminum(!!!!)-did they loose their mind or what?????????!!!!!!!!! Everybody knows now it is very toxic. One of them is covered with teflon, which is also with problems. Some of the websites recommend using Champion to get the pulp and then to use the press. I don't worry about the pulp, because I could use my food processor or blender for that.
I also found other press The Master of life 2-in-1 hand juicer, that is made of zinc - is zinc safe to use in juicers, do you know?
