I was raw for about two weeks...and then fell off the wagon. I couldn't resist the temptation of cooked food...and I've been paying for it ever since. I gained 20 pounds and I feel awful  . I just want to start over anew.

Good for you!! You can do it!!! Write a list of all the reasons why you want to go raw, carry it with you and read it several times a day. Come up with some positive affirmations about raw and say them out loud and to yourself many times per day. You can do this!!
All the best,

I have been less than raw for the past few months, and also gained back a lot of weight (well inches to be sure, I don't have a scale so I don't know)
Anyway, besides the point...
I too am starting up again.. I was starting the 30 day challenge yesterday, Aug1st, and well, let's just say thankfully today is a new day! :p
Don't be hard on yourself at ALL. It happens to so many of us.
I'm starting over right now too - so Yay for us both :p (Gosh I'm a nerd) ;)
I have been 100% since Easter and I found that visiting this forum everyday, sometimes several times a day, gave me the encouragement and willpower to continue and succeed. My sister has been attempting raw with no support other than maybe a weekly phone call from me and she is struggling. I believe not enough can be said about a support system. Best wishes on your raw journey and kudos for knowing that you can restart the journey.
I don't have much of a support system myself. My boyfriend is the only person that is supportive of my changeto raw. Everyone else...isn't.
I am with you! I ate some cooked last night... and I have been doing raw during the week, and succumbing to cooked on the weekends. Sometimes it is usually due to social reasons, sometimes, my resolve is weak. But I keep watching more and more raw DVD's and keep reading my books. I also reread my reasons for wanting to be raw in the first place, and I am tacking notes saying "I will eat raw today... I can have cooked tomorrow" (Thanks Raw Priestess!) at my cubicle at work, and my house.
So I am with you... ready to start fresh again! :)
I will try my best to go 100% raw. I know for a fact that doing this would improve my health greatly. My family has a history of heart disease, obesity, diabetes, and high blood pressure . Being raw would be so beneficial. Cooked food is SO addictive .
