David Wolfe now eating ants?

Sorry, but I just dont have the heart to eat them. They are living too. How terrible for these tiny little creatures :( .

Ick. That sounds kinda gross. Not all people who are raw are vegan or do it for ethical reasons. I started out veggie for moral reasons and now I'm mostly raw for health reasons! I found that my priorities changed as I got a bit older. :)

thats not vegan and i poor ants that must suck to be eaten alive there still living breathing creatures and i think theyre pretty smart lil guys...

I was yukking out loud and my DH though I was choking and came running in to see what was going on...he obviously doesn't hear me laughing out loud in front of the 'puter very often!

I think the ant is wiser than the one that is eating him

I heard from someone that went to that that he was talking about B12 and that we truly can't get it as vegans. I don't buy it though, because I have been vegan for over 9 years and have been tested and my B12 levels are high. That was without ever supplementing.

On a side note, I just bought his Sunfood Diet book or whatever it is called and don't like it at all. Too weird.

The only ants I will be eating are " ants on a log". You know, the celery with almond butter and raisins!!!

Vegans are vegans for ethical reasons. They wouldn't be vegan if they weren't. They'd be strict vegetarians. Read the links in my signature.

I am pretty sure my friend is not a liar so I wouldn't call it hear-say. She heard it directly from his mouth. There are some others on this forum who where there, they could vouch for it. David said that ants were best taken in capsule form, because if you throw them in your smoothie it will make it taste funny. I know it sounds crazy, but I am not joking.
