RP- I've tried the VitaMix method and it just isn't the same. I have a manual juicer, but now I am ready for an electric model. I have a great juicer, but it won't juice wheatgrass.
Nini, yes you are right the Vita Mix method is not the same as regular wheatgrass, but alot of people can't do wheatgrass, sounds like you can, so that is GREAT!!!
I'm sure you'll get some good information about the one you are asking about.
glimR
aren't you a sweetie, I take alot of classes, that's where I get all of this, and I read alot too. :o
I have not used that particular model myself. I've always found the reviews at www.discountjuicers.com to be pretty reliable, and though they sell this model, they say they do not recommend it. They say it is very lightweight, flimsy, can only be run for 10 minutes at a time, and has only a 1 year warranty. If you need to stay in that general price range, take a look at the Healthy Juicer, which both Discount Juicers and wheatgrass guru Pam Free at www.growweheatgrass.com both rate pretty well for wheatgrass (though not for other things) and which is about $180. Discount Juicers comments are extensive on this one.Quote:
