Well, today my husband called and he wanted something RAW to eat whe he got home...We had no salad green in the fridge...

Not to worry...What did I do? I grinded up some raw pecans, put some carrots, celery, red onion & two cloves of garlic & a half of a jalapeno pepper and some seasonings (curry & cayenne - Hubby is from Jamaica) into the in the food processor and Voila!! A pecan pate to die for...I made some of Alissa's marinara sauce & we had just a bit of shredded cabbage left...

I added everything on top of the shreeded cabbage, cut up a fresh tomato & dinner was served!

He LOVED IT! And what's better....It was Raw!

Alissa's boook is such a great resource...I am always referring to it for inspiration (from the testimonials) and for the recpies (which are to die for!)...If you don't have the video...You have to get it! It is such a great guide to what you can do to add more fruits and vegetables to your diet and to help you STAY RAW!!

Well, gotta go!!

Hope all is well in the raw food world...
