23/30 A positive mind brings about change
Hey everyone, thank you so much for your good wishes, I had a rawkn good time. In the morning huuby made raw porridge (Alissa Cohen style). For the evening meal hybby had taken a variety of fresh fruit and he made a glorious fruit salad. Of course the day went too quickly so I celebrated on Satruday too. Another porridge to start the morning and a late lunch of green salad topped with a blend of cashews, grated carrots, garlic, onions, mixed herbs and a little sea salt. This was finally topped with marinated mushrooms, onions, garlic with balsamic vinegar and honey. Well, it was totally delicious. I thought about a photo once I had started to tuck in so it was too late. I'm sure we will be creating this again so will post it then.
My Saturday meal was shared with friends from church who was asking all about what and why I was eating in the way that I was. They were eager to learn more and have asked me to share my experience, so that is great. The most wonderful thing about this diet is that it is bright colorful. interesting but most of all healthy. I know it is hard to come off cooked food, because let's face it our lives have been controlled with cooked food since we were young children.
It is a privilege to learn what we have learnt and I'm so glad for the knowledge. I just want to make sure that I am true to myself and continue down this road. There has been no mention of slip ups along the way, and that's not because I haven't had any, but each day has been a step closer to to even greater success.
Let us keep sharing our stories so others can be inspired. A positive mind and attitude really does bring about change!
Enjoy the holidays.
Blessings!
