Day Four

Well, today is day four. Day 2 and 3 found me incredibly hungry. I figured I'd better limit my bananas and dry apricots and stick to lower glycemic index fruit like canteloupe and berries, and see if that makes a difference. Bananas are just so darn addicting! ;)

Today is St. Patty's day and there will be no corned beef like usual. My dh bought me a book: The complete book of raw food while he was at the bookstore yesterday. Pretty sweet. Maybe I can find something in there to whip up that will be exciting. :)

Breakfast: Green smoothie (1 banana -I know I said I'm laying off, but gotta have at least one in the smoothie; 8 oz OJ, 8 oz water, 2 TBSP superfood plus)

snack: 1 cinnamon muffin from Dunkin Donuts (bad choice while socializing this morning at a playdate, but it's over and I will learn from it!)
I also had 1/2 coffee decaf with stevia. The stevia tastes grody in the coffee and I didn't even bother to drink it. YAY! LOL

Lunch: 3 cups of grapes, and 5 dried apricots

Dinner: marinated mushroom and artichoke heart salad
zucchini "spaghetti" with diced tomatoes and granulated garlic

    I'm a hungry person :) it amazes me the amounts of food I can eat! I've learned that if I eat my bananas with almond butter I stay full for hours. It's my morning thing. :) Happy day 4 to you!
