I just made my first green smoothie and ewwwwwwwwwwwwe it was gross! I don't know if I didn't something wrong or if it's an aquired taste but I don't continue to eat/drink things if I need to "aquire" a tast for it. LOL If I don't like it, in the trash it gos. This is not a "diet" for me, it's a new way of living so I need to enjoy everything I put in my body.
So I guess it's back to fruit smoothies only and I'll get my greens in my salads and other prepared meals. It's all trial and error to me.
I'm off to work, yes I have a part time Saturday job. I'll be back later.
I did fantastic today and it feels RAWsome!!!!!!!
As you know, my green smoothie didn't turn out well so for breakfast I had a banana and a handful of raw cashews. That held me over enough until I took lunch break around 2ish. For lunch I had a fruit salad that I had prepared that included 2 sliced bananas, a pint of strawberries and a sliced fuji apple. Yuuuuuuuuuuuuummy!!!! Later in the day I had a raw Chocolate Coconut Chew Larabar. Now I'm debating on what I want for dinner, I think I might have "spaghetti" with pesto sauce that I have left over from last night.
I'm soaking some sunflower seeds and in a couple of hours I'm going to make some Rawitos to enjoy tomorrow. Mmmmmmmmmmmm I can't wait.
I was wondering today, where does wine stand in the raw lifestyle? Is it raw or no? I think I've heard both sides of this so I need to check into it more. I'm not a big drinker but every once in a while I do enjoy a glass of red wine. Just a random thought.
That's it for now, until next time............keep on RAWkin'.
