chocolate on the brain...
Tigger Bounce talking of chocolate is making my mouth water.
I do not spend much time preparing food but have been making a chocolate dessert that I am just mad about. It is all raw and I do find that a little satisfies my cravings (which is amazing as I have never been a big chocolate eater but would always eat more than needed just in the hopes that the more I eat the better it would taste. Crazy I know)
Anyway, I make this in a glass casserole dish, just enough to cover the bottom.
a scoop of raw almond butter
a sprinkle of organic dried raw coconut both slivers and fine shred
a sprinkle of raw carob
a sprinkle of raw cocoa nibs ground in the coffee mill
a sprinkle of Gogi berries when I can get them
and drizzled coconut oil
Mix it all together and put it in the fridge. Once hard I break it up into bits and have a few after my evening meal. I find it both satisfying and delightful. I feel like I am getting a real treat...every day!!
I am hoping that the fact that all the ingredients are raw, the calorie and fat count will not be too bad, or will be out weighed by the raw goodness.
