I want to thank everyone who has participated in this RawFoodTalk.com forum. There have been some amazing exchanges here and so many words of wisdom spoken. But its time for me to close this board. I am moving on to new ventures and feel that its time for me to let this go. A forum of this size takes loads of money, time and energy. I have not been keeping up with the forum upgrades, the spam problems, etc…. which is resulting in many disgruntled emails and people calling the office daily. I’m sorry to disappoint the many of you who have spent your time and wonderful words of help and inspiration here. I hope that you have all benefited from this board and that it has helped you on your path to optimal health. I know many of you have made lasting friendships here as well. I will leave this board up for a month of so, so that you may copy what you need and any information you would like to save.

Thank you for being part of the RawFoodTalk.com community! It’s been a wonderful ride! I’m looking forward to seeing what’s next for all of you and of course, you can keep up with my adventures through my blog, Facebook and twitter. I am continuing my certification trainings and there will be some exciting new classes, events and projects coming into fruition in the near future!

Nice to have a couple of days off! Wow, forgot what that felt like!

So the restaurant is a smashing success. My staff is fantastic, the food is amazing and its full every night. Now I can take a breather. It’s hard for me not to be there every single second but I had a meeting last night so I had two nights away and they did a great job there.

We have had amazing feedback with people saying it’s the best food they have ever had, cooked or raw! My chef, Leah, is doing a great job. She is a trained culinary chef but has been learning the raw techniques quickly and is coming up with amazing taste sensation. The food is a work of art, it’s so beautiful.

So another project complete…what a great feeling! Now on to think about franchising or setting up more and keeping them… we’ll see. I need a vacation first. Next week for a few days to regain my sanity.
It’s been so great meeting some of you there.

Take care of yourself. I've been worried that you were working TOO hard. (I am a mother, and it's hard to seperate that job sometimes). So glad to hear how well your restaurant is doing. Maybe one day I can visit, I would love it!!

YAY, Alissa; finally some time off!!! It was such a thrill for me to meet you, if you hadn't noticed.. ha ha ha ;) and Yes, Congratulations on making a RAW food establishment such a HUGE success in the heart of Boston and again, introducing many people to how WONDERFUL raw food tastes and how BEAUTIFUL it looks; not to mention how creative all the dishes are!!!! Now get some rest, kick your feet up and tune in to VH1 Thursday nite!!!

Alissa, I don't know if this is the right place to tell you this (and if it is not, please forgive me), but I truly believe that God places people and events in your life right when you need them...I received your video and your book from one of my clients who was on celebrity fit club!! My husband saw only five minutes of your video and has been raw ever since...

MangoMyst, Thanks for letting me know that! I’m so happy you found the book and DVDs and that they are what you (and your husband) needed at the right time. I believe that also. I gave out a lot of books to the celebrities and staff there and I’m so glad they are finding their way into the right people’s hands.
