ten day cleanse
how is everyone doing?! i'm so excited to finally be on here. i have been reading this website pretty much daily during the preliminary months of my raw food journey.
my raw food journey began on november 12, 2007 when i embarked on a 40 day master cleanse. yes, ladies & gentlemen you read that correctly; 40 days! this was truly an eye opening experience on many different levels; spiritually, mentally, and physically. during my cleanse, i used the master cleanse online forum for feedback, motivation, and the realization that i was not alone in the symptoms i was experiencing through my detoxification phases. while navigating my way through the forum pages, one day i stumbled upon someone's post about alissa cohen and the raw food diet. to no avail, i sought alissa and her teachings. it was almost like a snowball effect. i wanted to know everything about anything possible in relation to the raw food diet. therefore, i took my first three big baby steps; alissacohen.com, book and dvd.
through my cleanse and the raw food diet, i have never felt better in my life. i could not even think about putting cooked food into my mouth. haha, and i was once the fast food queen! anything unnatural, looks exactly that, UNNATURAL! it just looks toxic to me. and, i definitely do not want to poison my temple.
this blog will serve as a diary for my second master cleanse. i wish i had documented my first. however, one must not live in the past, and instead i am beginning this blog for my new master cleanse which will begin on march 3, 2008. i am excited to see what result will occurr this time around. the biggest result from my first cleanse and eating the raw food diet has been my face. i no longer experience a ruddy, rosacea-like appearance i had throughout my entire life, and it feels wonderful!:)
to everyone: hello once again, and i look forward to posting my experiences with you on this blog. and for those master cleansers of the past, present and future: good luck & happy cleansing!
