hubby is claiming vegetarian status now...
that the US has publicized that it has been cloning meat and says that there is no "additional harm to consumers than that of eating conventional meat".
With a big smile he kissed me after dinner and said, "Guess what?"
I of course, said.. hmmm sweetie -- whats up?
and he said in a singsong voice, " I didnt eat ANY MEAT TODAY and I am STUFFED!"
-- so to recap:
apples on the way to work -- we carpooled because gas is RIDICULOUS!
oranges for lunch ( i had sun tea b/c of my womanly issue this month)
sushi wraps -- nice!!
stuffed anaheim peppers with mole' sauce (from ani phyos book -- which FREAKIN ROCKS!!!
red pepper and corn salsa -- also from ani phyo - YUM!
HUbby ate all 3 stuffed peppers, thinking it would be light -- but he was super full, but not gut-busting full like when he eats cooked food.
AND he wasnt tired or sleepy -- even though we were watching state of the union... but anyways..
I am soooo proud of my hubby!! He is really thankful for me makign him healthier foods. He wants to lose a few pounds, and since I looked all hot n sexy in PR he wants to also change his diet too, especially with him recently having an allergic reaction to something and his throat started swelling... OMG!
In the meantime, school is back in session and I am trying to write my ENTIRE thesis proposal this semester. Can you say -- "LIVE IN THE LAB" five times really fast? Probably!
ANyways, I am holding steady at 163, which was my Dec wt. But I am planning a master cleanse for Feb. to jumpstart some things!!
missed you guys a lot! I am planning on having a raw potluck once a month at my house to share my food! I think this will help me create a stronger raw food scene here!
