Hello Juicer!

Rate this Entry
I got the stainless steel Jack LaLanna yesterday. Made my first juice this morning- 4 granny apples. It's pretty delish, a bit tart though.

I'm inching closer and closer to 100% raw. I'm really noticing it, and I feel pretty damn good overall. It's still very iffy for me though. I know you're not supposed to feel deprived, but I still have that mentality sometimes. It is deprivation in a sense because you are deprived of cooked crap. I guess it upsets me to feel like I don't have a choice, even though I do. I just know that it's bad for me and then I feel depressed for even thinking about it. I'm sure every transitioner feels or has felt the same. On one hand you're excited cause you feel great, and on the other, it's like... blah, I can't have this anymore, etc etc.

Us humans are curious beings!

oh - btw - a drop or two of agave to your smoothie w sweeten that up a bit if you want... or mix in some carrot juice (very sweet!) and yes... we all go thru transitions... feelings of 'being left out' or deprivation do happen - but as time goes on - yu w realize WE are truly about freedom -- cuz we CHOOSE to be healthy - eat vibrant foods... and don't forget there are many wonderful raw dishes too -- like pizza, calzones, CHEESECAKE... yumm!!

juicers are great. my fav mix is carrot, spinach and a bit of celery, with a wee bit of apple if i am in the mood for some sweetness.
I saw the JL Juicers on sale at Costco, amazing price. I was tempted to get one and compare to mine. Rawk On!
