Back After 4 Months
Well, here I am again! Since my successful 30-day raw challenge in July, I have found myself progressivly slipping back into a lifestyle that I KNOW is unhealthy. And I can feel it in my body. I've been feeling run-down and lethargic lately. At first I tried to explain it as the 'winter blues', and maybe that is PART of the problem...but I can definitely feel a deeper cause to my problems...JUNK FOOD . My body feels less ALIVE inside, I'm missing that glow that I felt this summer when I was raw. So here I am, getting back on track
For the past couple of weeks I have been progressively adding more raw foods back into my daily diet. Mainly it has been since New Year's, when my lovely boyfriend took me to a local raw cafe (Choco Canyon Cafe in Seattle) for our 2-year anniversary. It was the first completely raw meal I had eaten in MONTHS and it got me excited. The very next day I went to Whole Foods in Seattle and bought them out of Sea Tangle Kelp Noodles (which I had learned about the previous day at the cafe) and made a delicious curried cream of spinach soup. Mmmmm...well now Cameo is all excited and committing to 100% raw, so what else can I do but jump in as well?
