DAY 8 RAWKIN BUT CONFUSED

Rate this Entry
A LITTLE CLARIFICATION WILL HELP. I'M EMAILING A FEW RAW FRIENDS AND WE EXCHANGE WHAT WE ATE FOR THE DAY. AND I NOTICED THEIRS ARE A LOT LESS FOOD THAN I EAT AND IF I REMEMBER CORRECTLY, THEY HAVE DONE THIS ON AND OFF FOR A WHILE BUT CURRENTLY ON A LONGER STRETCH OF TIME. ?? DO YOU REQUIRED LESS FOOD OVER A PERIOD OF TIME? AND IS THIS MY OLD WAY OF THINKING ABOUT FOOD? LIKE NOW, IT'S TIME TO GET READY FOR WORK, OUT OF VERY RIPE BANANAS AND WAITING FOR ME TO RIPPEN MORE AND NOT TO WORRY ABOUT "NOT HAVING MY SMOOTHIE "THIS A.M. I'LL EAT WHEN I FEEL IT? IS THIS HOW IT GOES, "EAT WHEN HUNGRY"? AT WORK, I ALWAYS KEEP SOME FRUIT THERE WHEN I FEEL I NEED SOME NOURISHMENT, HAVE ALMOND BUTTER AND SOME NUTS, AND VEGGIES TO MAKE A SALAD WITH. BUT I'M ALWAYS THINKING, IS IT ENOUGH FOOD AND IT ALWAYS IS, I HAVE TO GET IF OUT OF MY HEAD, "I WON'T STARVE" THE BODY DOES NOT REQUIRES A LARGE AMOUNT OF FOOD, JUST NUTRIENTS AND WE GET THAT THROUGH FOODS, QUALITY FOODS. SO ANY ANSWERS WILL HELP. WILL LATER TONIGHT AFTER WORK ON MY DAY.
PEACE AND BLESSINGS TO US ALL.

I've not been raw long-but I've read more than a handful of times that the longer you are raw the less your body needs-and you automatically eat less.

I have read the similar things to what OneBite@aTime has. I think once your body gets used to raw foods, maybe gets through the main part of the detox and really starts getting healthy it realizes it doesn't need as much. I mean it would make sense. Processed foods have so few nutrients that we have to eat a ton to get what we need, maybe one you get used to eating what you need to, your body will start telling you when you have enough.
