Beating the cooked cravings !!

Rate this Entry
Hello Hello

I haven't been blogging here again, I've been kind of busy, blogging on my own blog (http://raw.tanishamarshall.com) and sending emails to my January 100% raw buddies, and lots of other stuff.

I have to tell you rawbies that as I went raw I went with the mindset that if I messed up I messed up but even though I said that in the beginning, I would would still get worked up about not being 100%. Eventually I got use to not being 100%, I was more like 90%, I told myself that it was better not to stress over it. I noticed when I stressed over being 100% I messed up the most.

Now rawbies, I've come to a point where cooked food doesn't even bother me, I kind of felt myself not even wanting the cooked vegan foods, somehow my love for them have vanised, I don't know what happened but it just did.

I know I was always told and have read that if you're a Food Addict you should stop cold turkey and I'm not doubting that isn't correct but for me not stressing over how raw I was has helped me get to this point. I'm so happy that I can see cooked food and not be tempted. I cross my fingers that this never changes but for now, this moment, I don't want or need cooked food, not even my favorite indian food.

What I'm trying to say is, never give up no matter how much you mess up. Most of you may try to go cold turkey and some of you may cheat, don't stress, keep putting raw back into your diet. We are not perfect don't be so hard on yourself. I know this approach may only work for some people but I wanted to give you hope that you can kick the cooked habit if you keep persevering and drink lots of green smoothies, I started doing 2 a day.

Sending lots and love and peace your way!
Tanisha
