Raw! Raw! Raw! I made it to Day 3!

This has been the hardest day so far for me. I woke up feeling pretty great, and spent a lot of time concocting Alissa's carrot cake w/frosting, the curry sauce for the carrot pecan burgers, and Zaphirah's nacho suncheeze. They are all quite tasty, I think!
I am just SO TIRED today. Is this detox or what?? I did make a lot of food, and am nursing a baby and taking care of 3 others. Maybe that has something to do with it.![]()
I had my usual green smoothie this morning. I almost always throw a hunk of avocado in it because I find, if I don't, it just doesn't hold me that long. However, I have been reading what a lot of others throw in their green smoothies, and most of them seem to lack some kind of fat. Should I NOT be putting fat (avo, coconut oil, etc) in my morning green smoothies? I just don't see how I can make it to lunch without some substance in them, you know?
I have also been having such horrible cravings for cooked food today!! Arrgh!I suppose they will come, no matter how hard I wish they wouldn't, right? I really didn't have any cravings the other two days, but tonight I made some SAD food for my family and it just so happens to be one of my favorite comfort foods and it IS winter and all that... Sigh. Then, I started thinking about all the other SAD foods that I want to munch on and then Alissa's face popped in my head and I remembered what she said about not thinking about what you are missing, but instead thinking of what lovely things you CAN eat on the raw diet. It really helped me, and I told myself to just keep eating my salad and shush. LOL!
