My Husbands Motto and Mine too

Rate this Entry
My husband and I have a motto that we used when we were selling our house in Portland, OR. "One day at a time", we have a sign in our living room with the same quote on it. I really feel it has to do with going Raw, a person needs to take it one day at a time, or as my husband has said before, sometimes you have to take it one day, one hour or even one minute at a time.

Christmas has been a weak time for me. I failed going raw again. Also my work makes it hard for me, there has been lots of cookies, candies, fudge, etc in our breakroom, so I crashed a burned as far as staying raw is concerned. I'm weak.... I will just keep on trying. January 2008 would be a good time to start over.

Today is the first day I have stayed raw. I had a yummy orange, banana, mango smoothie for breakfast. Lunch has been raw spaghetti and marinara, which I ended up sharing a few forkfuls with my Pomeranian, she kept begging for another bite of my food. (My little doggy girl likes raw. )

My dehydrator is busy today, I have corn bread in it right now. Later after the nuts are done soaking I want to make a kiwi cookie recipe I found online.
Then maybe some carrot or nut burgers. I also plan to make some Buckwheaties for breakfast. I want "cereal" for breakfast tomorrow.

I have to clean up the kitchen, now, it's kind messy. When my husband comes home from work we are going shopping. Plus I have to get some of my craft supplies boxed up, in my craft area upstairs.

My husband wants to make my art studio more efficient for me. I need some work tables, and shelves, for my different crafts. I want a sewing area, jewelry craft area, painting area for my easel, and an area for my wreath crafts. The upstairs area is large enough it can work easily for these separate areas. I'm so excited to have room for each craft and also my computer will go upstairs too. Got to go so I can clean the kitchen then, get my craft stuff packed up, so he has room to work this weekend! YIPPEE!!!
