menu creation -- raw energy is increasing!!
hey guys and gals! I am really enjoying the raw freedom I am obtaining right about now..
hubby has fallen in love with the marinated greens, and I am making and eating about 1-2lbs every 48 hrs for the both of us to eat -- its soo scrumptious!
for some reason, I am still back on the chocolate smoothie kick, but my lips are no longer cracking, and my skin is less itchy -- the cold air and snow here is really doing a number on my body.
We are both drinking coconut water like crazy, and it tastes sooooo good!
my menu has been about the same for the last few days since I posted.
morning chocolate smoothie -- if rushed, I eat an apple, 2 oranges, and a pear or banana
lunch -- sunflower seed/pumpkin pate' , with veggie flax crackers, which hubby absolutely loves!!! and slices of avo, cucumber, and whatever other veggies I have on hand..
snack -- usually coconut water, banana chips, and/or soaked almonds.
dinner -- marinated greens, and carrot-walnut burgers with curry sauce...
or
veggie flax crackers with salsa and chopped avocado.
thats all for now, gotta get to bed somewhat early -- more errands to run tomorrow.
i am making a list of all the items hubby enjoys eating raw, and adding 2 new recipes, then creatig a new menu every 2 weeks.
so far for this portion of dec, we have:
- sunflower pate ( our unofficial hummus replacement!)
- marinated greens
- veggie flax crackers (with frozen pulp from summer juicing!)
- salsa/guacamole
- carrot-pecan burgers
- coconut water
---------------------
adding to the menu
- pesto
- portabella mushrooms (to stuff)
- cheesecake (ani phyos')
- chocolate ice cream (karen knowler)
- butternut squash patties (LOLF)
- almond choc cooke (LOLF)
- zucchini chips?
DOnt know when I can add these, but lets see what I can get made.
Blessings!!
