Juice Fast - Day 2 ... Sunday, November 25th

Rate this Entry
Still going strong!

Yum!! My juice this morning was delish!

2 HUGE handfuls of baby spinach (probably 4-5 cups of leaves)
2 pears
2 apples
and the juice of one coconut (about a cup)

yielded 40 ounces of juice!!! Wow! Absolutely scrumptous!

I woke up really hungry today, which is odd, because I usually don't start feeling slightly hungry until early evening. This is very welcomed, though, as I always felt "off with nature" not eating all day. I was eager to jump out of bed and make a juice this morning, lol. Just one cup filled me up.

Loving this!

**********

I'm kinda loving the one I'm sipping on right now, too (I have a feeling I'll have a bazillion "favorites" before this is all said and done, lol)

it has...

kale/spinach/parsley (about 2 cups of each)
4 celery stalks (with leaves)
2 small apples (one green, one red)
and one bunch of red grapes

It really is pretty dang tasty! I've felt completely satisfied all day today, too, which is wonderful!

(yielded about 34 ounces of juice!! I have to say I'm surprised how much juice is being made. I imagined having to use an absurd amount of fruits and veggies to get a good tall glass. That was my ONE worry/concern about this, being able to afford it. But, I don't think that's going to be a problem anymore. I'm getting a ton of juice!! And I use the remaining pulp to make the kids smoothies, or chili, or soups, or sauces, or ... so this juicing fast is filling up everyone's belly! LOL)

**********

I just made one with 3 apples (2 green, 1 red), 8 medium carrots, 3 small cucumbers, and 1/2 a lemon. Good Stuff!! It yielded about 32 ounces.

I started craving food this evening (zucchini "spaghetti" with tomato sauce to be exact, lol) ... but after drinking some of this juice, I'm feeling satisfied. Woo.

**********

finishing up the night with a juice of spinach/baby greens/celery/grape/apple. My body is totally loving these UBBER green filled juices. Yum!!!
