Celebrity fit Club filming

Rate this Entry
I just got home from filming for Celebrity Fit Club on VH1… again!
What a hoot!

I was out in CA about 2 weeks ago shooting for the show. We made a TON of food and it went great but they decided to scrap the episode because they didn’t like the cast they had chosen.
Fortunately, they called me and asked if I wanted to come back to shoot again with them, so we just did another 2 day shoot and it went even better than last time. (I really think the producers and crew just wanted to eat my food again! It really could have been a reality show in itself seeing them standing around the table in awe that raw food could taste that good)

We flew in on Monday morning and made food till late that night and then shot the next day. I had to fly back the following morning for some business stuff here so it was a crazy couple of days.

It was a blast though! Dennis and I had so much fun.

The celebrities LOVED the food and all of them were over the top that they could eat this way and lose weight and feel good and not deprived. Actually, there was one girl who was so over the top against it (I tried to delete her from my mind, almost forgot about her ) she was yelling about not liking vegan food and she wouldn’t even try it. She was all up in arms about having to sit there and get slack for not tasting it, yada yada yada…. She was a big drama queen… I can’t tell you yet who it is yet, but you won’t miss her when you see the show. I’m sure a big part of it will be her complaining. They love the drama ya know…but hopefully they will edit it in a positive light. Everyone else was loving it! We had so much fun with the crew before and after feeding them and turning them on to it. We were laughing at one of the producers that I was working with because she was taking boxes and filling it (very rapidly and swiftly) with leftovers – (which there were a TON of since they were only picking at the food during the show) and hiding it in a corner to take home.

The show will be airing in March. But the dates always change with this stuff so ill keep you posed as it gets closer.

I went to Robert Reid's Thanksgiving un-cooking class with my mom yesterday... and I got to tell a couple people about your raw restaurant opening up. :) Yay! Can't wait for more.
