Dissapointing!

Argh I was out when they dehydrator got delivered (again) so I have to get it from the depot tomorrow. Bummer.

I made a new brownie recipe today, something a bit different from the usual date-walnut thing. I didn't have any dates so I kind of made it by accident, but it was the closest thing I've tasted to a real brownie :) I'll be posting it when I sort out definite quantities and such...

Today has been a bad day for me, raw-wise. Normally I would consider myself about 90-95% raw, as I only use odd cooked bits and bobs like pasteurized things and have all my meals raw. But today I found myself munching on a couple of rice cakes. I don't really know why... I fancied something but couldn't figure out what. Oh well, they're so light it wasn't drastic. Probably the "crunch factor" I fancied. I'll be able to sort that when I get my dehydrator!

I've noticed that even when I eat the smallest cooked thing, like those rice cakes, I get these weird headaches about half an hour afterwards. It's kind of cool as it shows me my body's rejecting crap food.

On the piercing front - I have no swelling, redness or anything. This is the first piercing I've had since going raw and it seems to be healing already. I took a zinc supplement today to speed up healing but am going to stock up on zinc-rich foods, I'd rather do natural than supplement. I am a bit concerned though that I'm going to a gig on Saturday and it might get bashed around...

Hope everyone had a good day,
Love, Hannah x
