I've been drinking green smoothies for a day now. I'm pureeing everything I eat and as far as fat goes, I'm not going to do more than half an avocado within a day.

So I've been eating just fruit and veggies, no nuts, just a few ground flax and sunflower.

One thing I'm beginning to notice is the lack of tiredness I'd previously become accustomed to and somewhat gotten to rely upon. I'm having a really weird sleep in patches. I've also been dealing with some pretty bad stress.

When I read the news about those poor animals I was really disturbed and still am, so I haven't been able to just relax and sleep.

My initial reaction to being stressed was to eat something. I remembered how food would have a light anesthetic effect on me and I wouldn't 'feel' as much. Interesting stuff..

So having to feel everything fully, being fully present in the moment and food not giving me the anesthetic effect I'm used to getting from it, it's been a bit hard getting through times like these, but I'm staying strong.
