Georgina's Raw Journey

Need to stock up on goodies

I used coupons for my last raw shop and I had £20 saved so I spalshed out. This week it's back to spending real money. I may eat a little less royally -- maybe fewer avos for a start; they are quite expensive in the UK.

I want to make smoothies. I will make smoothies! I even have a smoothie book somewhere!

My work station has two fruit bowls and Alissa's tome on it and I'm wondering if I can squeeze my smoothie maker and water filter jug into their small kitchen -- raw is taking over the office

I cooked food for my bf again last night and do find it frustrating that I can't test for seasoning before serving but I just explain that he'll have to add his own salt and pepper! He's ok with it :)

I have found that the dog is less keen to steal my food unless there is salad dressing and nuts involved. The cats quite like banana and pineapple and they can be quite insistant!

Mid-way through the working week and all is going ok.

Isn't it funny how much animals like raw foods? My beagle begs for smoothies, pineapple, banana, coconut meat, oil, flax, crackers, hummus, pesto, apples...ok, well you get the picture. He's a rawbie. Why can't you taste the food before seving? I tend to smell, taste and poke at it many times before serving to adjust flavors...?

I rather equate tasting with eating and he had chicken, ham and wild mushrooms in a white sauce with plain boiled pasta. Not raw so I don't taste it!

He said this evening that he'd like to eat raw with me a few times a week... that has to be a good thing but he'll never give up meat and eggs I don't think!
