The Sniffles?

Rate this Entry
The oddest thing happened today, I got the sniffles! It's so weird because I can't remember the last time I had a cold. And it's not even that cold. It just hit me around noon, all of a sudden I was sniffing and sneezing. Usually when I feel a cold coming on, I used to immediately take 2 dristan pills, drink a massive cup of Theraflu, and heavily cover myself in thick blankets dressed in warm clothes so that I would sweat it all out! And it worked 9 times out of 10, however I would wake up the next morning drowsy as all heck! Not this time though, I guess I'm going to have to ride it through .

youraw - hmmm...cantaloupe smoothie! That sounds really good, I've never had it, I'm guessing it's just blended cantaloupe I actually had 1 whole other cantaloupe today which sucks because now I have none for tomorrow Oh well still got plenty bananas!

starfire - You read my mind! I already put some banana in the freezer to freeze up, plan on eating it tomorrow! I heart bananas <drool><slobber> :)

I actually just got home from making a stop at the store to buy some more celery, tomatoes, corn, and 2 pears. Can't believe I already went through a bag of celery in 3 days! I could go through more if I was juicing it but I've been eating them big stalks whole and I actually like it now too, they're oh so crunchy. I don't think I ever ate a whole bag of celery on my own before raw, probably a whole bag over the course of my non-raw vegan years sounds about right! How sad is that, 21 years - 1 whole bag of celery. tsk tsk hmmm! That's the good thing about being raw, I don't have to constantly worry about if I'm getting enough of my greens in. Especially when I stopped eating meat I'd always worry about my iron and protein if I didn't eat more greens. Now that's all I eat, fruit and greens - fruit and greens. No more worry. How simple it is :) Enough of my babbling, here's my menu for today:

Breakfast -
1/2 cantaloupe

Lunch -
1/2 cantaloupe

Car ride home -
1 apple

Dinner -
2 bananas
2 corn on the cobs
6 small tomatoes
1 peach
4 celery stalks

Alright I'm going to go turn in it's been a long day! Hope you all have a great rest of today and tomorrow!
