Day 3-March 14th
So I became extremely hungry at work-not enough food packed today and ate a health valley crumbly granola bar. I was still hungry a couple of hours later, and had literally 10 minutes at home before I had to go to my other office to meet with a client. Well, I ate several wheat crackers with organic raw goat cheese slices. I feel pretty bad about myself on an emotional level, but I am trying to not be too hard. This time, I am packing a lot of food. Here is what I have prepared for tomorrow:
1. 1 grapefruit
2. 1 cantaloupe
3. 2 bananas
4. stuffed portabella w/guacamole
5. Mock tuna & sprouts on a bed of romaine lettuce
6. One small slice date nut torte
7. 1 plum
This is supposed to get me through from 8am until about 8pm tomorrow night. I hope I don't get the hungries again. I am going to go horseback riding at 5pm...
I sure hope I don't get to the starving point again. That's what I have to watch out for. If I become starving I lose control and panic and eat crackers and cheese. This is one reason (among many!) that I wished I worked from home and didn't have to do the 9-5 grind. If I'm home, I can make a smoothie or some such thing before I reach the starving point. I guess I will try and not be hard on myself until I get this figured out, in terms of how much food I'll need throughout the workday NOT to feel starving. It actually may be a large amount of food. Already, I am carrying a grocery bag full of food with me!!!
PS. Didn't work out today, as I just finished making the food now, and I have to get up at 7am
