Detox me thinks

Rate this Entry
I think I may be detoxing, I just feel icky. Could have been too much fat with an avocado and the nuts and olive oil sauce that followed.

But I woke up feeling yucky, and ate to try and make it go away, yet it's still there. I'm drinking water.

It's funny because I imagine people who start to feel like this begin to wonder, at least those who were already vegetarians and didn't have the meat blanket. You start to feel bad not long after going raw and immediately think 'oh no, I'm missing out on something, I better eat something cooked!'.

At least that was my initial reaction, of course I thought about this, and what I would have done to solve the issue. The truth is, my vegetarian foods were pretty much half the nutritional choice of the ones I'm eating now, with less than half the amount of nutrition due to being cooked.

There really isn't anything I had before that I can't have now better. In times when I'd get really worried I'd eat some chicken. I don't like it but ate it just to feel safe.

I miss my spinach and apple smoothie though. I couldn't get any spinach today because it's sunday but I have to stack up on monday. I tried using kale and apple and to put it in one word, it was gross.

Whatever's really going on, I had a light 30 min workout today to get things moving, will probably lay down and read with a glass of water.
