so i was in LA all day/night yesterday. looking at galleries, trying to get a feel for some of the areas. i am 'planning' on relocating up there in the next month or two from where i currently live-which is about an hour and a half south of LA.
sooo being RAW in LA will have its advantages and disadvantages i can already see that. new city, new cooked restaurants around...but ALSO many RAW places and juice bars too. more than where i am living now...so that's a plus.
anyway, yesterday was an interesting eating day.
i brought some supplies with me in the car. i have been using one of those small rectangular plastic rubbermaid containers without the lid on. all my food can sit safely in that while i drive, next to me on the seat or the floor.
i ate my green smoothie before i left.
in the car: 1 apple, couple pieces of broccoli, some assorted nuts and a bit of raw granola. and i mean grazing gently on the nuts and the granola lol.
once i was in LA i ended up stopping twice and sitting with my laptop either in the back of my car with the tinted windows and ac going. haha...then i stopped at a juice bar and got some orange carrot juice.
later i went to a coffee shop and persuaded the girl to leave out all the juice and vanilla powder thaey put in their smoothies. she made me a banana, blueberry smoothie with water :) my very FIRST "making a special request while ordering" RAW experience.
then i went to a friend's apartment to talk about rooming 'maybe' in the future and brought in my goodie box and finished off my broccoli and had a few more nuts and granola.
driving back home and going through TWO detours at 1:30 am i started getting hungry, so i ate an apple and had a few more nuts.
interesting eating day it seems.
sooooo onto today...which i haven't eaten yet, but i will make a green smoothie in awhile and keep in light today.
salad for lunch
and dinner? not sure yet.
