Bah!! I accidentally cooked my lassagna. I got all mixed up with the temperatures and instead of 40 celcius I put it for 80, which cooks it. But it's all good, Petri wanted to have some of whatever I was making for myself today while I was almost done preparing and I wasn't sure there would be enough for us both. So he's eating it and I passed.

Now that it's (partially) cooked, he's enjoying it better than I think he would have otherwise. He said he loved it.

And because of bloating and discomofort (detox I presume) I've been having these days I'm probably better off staying off solids.

I had a few dates this morning, and water. I think I'll continue on water for the rest of the day, or at least liquids.

Oh My Goddess

After giving my tummy some hours of rest, I finally worked up an apetite and decided to make some cashew pesto. Soaked the cashews for a bit then added olive oil, lots of fresh basil, lots of garlic and some soy sauce.

Then I used the remaining turnips, which needed to be eaten today, and made raviolis stuffed with the pesto and smothered them in olive oil.

I let them sit for 30 minutes, couldn't want any longer, I devoured the whole thing, it was incredible. It was definately more enjoyable as raw food without the tomatoes.

Next time I'll just make turnip noodles and smother them in the pesto.

Little by little I'm building my staples, and I'm not feeling as lost and clueless about food. I guess once you learn how to make pasta, cheese, meat, cream and milk, the rest just follows.

Petri said the lassagna meat tasted almost like real meat, which was amazing. I don't like meat myself but it's nice to get that feeling and flavour in the food sometimes. All I did was blend walnuts, garlic, cumin and soy sauce to taste.

Evening:
Almond, cinammon, date, coconut milk mush

Due to the bloating and things not moving much I took some senna, but today I realized my guts have just been irritated, not particularly clogged, so I started on probiotics.
