Day 10 - no cheating!!
I have awakened early with a cup of kombucha tea, and the resolve to stick to my 30 days +++ I plan to join the April challenge too!
I have my list of things to do, and I am going to make some simple things today and make cooked meals to give away to starving college folk., hehe... :) that way I can rid myself of the cooked stuff. Im getting my hair braided and out of the way, and I'm focusing on my life goals.
Such a clearer day, and I see a few hints of spring, even though its quite cold in WI still.
will update later today with my progress. May even have a few calm moments to work on my knitting....
The day has gone quickly. I held my own ) YAYY!!!
kombucha tea - plain, not a GT drink -- tasted ok, but not sure if it was raw. It wasnt as potent as the GT brand.
banana & papaya smoothie
orange and apple
zusghetti and marinara (fresh batch!! - yum!!)
spinach salad with marinated veggies, olives, 1/2 avocado, cherry tomatoes, lentil sprouts, evening prim oil, lemon juice, and infused garlic/olive oil. It was amazing!!
Made some almond balls to ensure that I dont slip up.. Anyone know how to make them less sticky? I had to eat a huge spoonful (smile) to get it off my hand --- no success with the rolling - really doughy.. I did use agave nectar for 1/4 cups because I was low on honey (wasnt sure if 1//2 cup of honey was too much..?)
anyways, I'm feeling pretty good about being raw. Nothing missing. Looking forward to reading the success stories in the book tonite, and looking for more quick recipes I can whip up based on what I have in my fridge and pantry.
