Feeling great today! Haha, mood swing central, huh? Yesterday I was just in a funk...I'm not sure how much of it was detox related, but whatever it was, I'm feeling better today.
Todays foods so far:
-2 grapefruits
-handful of blueberries
-smoothie: parsley, chard, pear*
-2 kiwis
-apricots
-carrots
-tomato
-avocado
*For the parsley smoothie: I had no idea how nutritious parsley was! It has three times as much Vitamin C as an orange and twice as much iron as spinach! And it's loaded with vitamin K!
I've been dreaming of the day I would say this... and today is that day. My thighs are slimmer!!! Whee! I've never measured, and I don't really plan to, so I don't know exactly how many inches I've lost. But I can completely notice a difference!
I'm faced with a challenge this weekend! Tomorrow is K's birthday. We're going out to dinner with his father and family. I'm not going to make a scene. I don't even really want to mention my raw diet, just because K's family is not the type to accept something like that. I'll order whatever is closest to my acceptable foods...a salad of some sorts. I most likely will not be eating all raw on Saturday. I'm okay with this. I can still try my best to deal with the situation without making a scene or drawing attention to myself.
I can still be strong.
