So I have just made the first recipes for week one tonight! Here is what I plan to eat tomorrow:
1. 1 whole cantaloupe for breakfast
2. 3/4 cup mock salmon pate on organic romaine w/cherry tomatoes for lunch
3. 2 small slices date nut torte for a snack
4. Green lemonade (ie; romaine lettuce, 1 lemon, 2 fuji apples, kale) in juicer & banana papaya pudding for dinner.
And, unfortunately, I am going to have half a cup of coffee w/almond milk in the morning. I plan to taper the coffee off by mid-week. I am a little worried about the detox symptoms being too harsh from the coffee, so I am getting rid of it slowly.
So, I will write again tomorrow night and let you guys know how I did. Incidentally, I LOVED every single recipe except the fettucini Alfredo. I found it inedible. Maybe it's the raw squash? My boyfriend, who is not raw, loved it and ate oodles, but I thought it was way too intense tasting.
Also, I am starting exercise this week. I am going to get up tomorrow at 6am for yoga. Whoa nelly!
