Raw for 5

Had a strange experiance today. A really dear friend said "we'd invite you for dinner next week, but you only eat raw food and we don't have anything to feed you." You certainly get some odd reactions when you start out on this journey. I guess I remember similar reactions when I became Vegetarian, once people understand, they are lots more able to cope with different lifestyle choices.
I forgot breakfast.. Sadly because it is one of my 3 favourite meals of the day! The meal I eat nothing but my precious fruit... mmmMMMmmmm FRUIT.... *drools*
By the time I got back from my massage(MMMMmmmMMMassage), it was too near lunch, and I had already thought through lunch and was really looking forward to it. What I can't seem to get away from is mixing fruit into meals with other things. I like fruit for desert! Does that make me a bad raw foodie?
Anyway back to lunch.... I had the amazing Beet Ravioli with Fresh Herbs (therawtable.com), then later in the afternoon I had 2 brownies with the chocolate pudding on top (YUM!!) Tonight for supper, as if my food couldn't get better, I had Russell James' Lasagne and Blueberries for desert. I think I will go to the forum and find out how bad it is to finish with fruit. From what I have read it is REALLY bad because it starts to ferment in your stomach because it digests so quickly.
I hope not though, because I like to eat fruit with other stuff...
I am having far too much fun with eating raw... Is eating what your body is supposed to have SUPPOSED to be this much fun?

your friend's comment made me laugh. For some reason I get PITIED about being raw???? My SIL is *very* skinny and eats like a linebacker. She's forever saying things like "Oh! How can you resist this pie and that cake? " blah blah blah-and I think to myself-"Easily!" sigh. ;)
