Day 2 - Keep it up

Whew... one day behind me so it's on to day #2.

Not much exciting to report... just that I'm here and doing OK.

My boyfriend works a weird rotating schedule, so he's been on nights the past 3 nights... means an empty house for me when I get home from work... but also means I don't have to make dinner and can eat whatever I want without listening to the comments from the peanut gallery.

But, he's off for the next 4 days now... so I definitely feel challenged. This is going to be the hardest part... just keeping it together and making those smart choices.

He's a lucky guy... never had any weight issues or health problems. He wears the same size jeans now as he did in high school 14 years ago...30 waist. Makes me sick sometimes. He's never had to give up foods he likes or eat them in moderation... so talk about your covert sabotage. Geez... one cookie never hurt anyone.

I'd better stop this line of reasoning right now or it'll put me in a piss foul mood, and I really don't need that today!

    It's hard eating raw when your partner doesn't... I know that from experience.

    Keep your rawesomeness going and don't let him budge you!!

    it can be frustrating. i have friends who never ever eat fruits and vegetables, rarely exercise and who are slimmer, look in better shape and have smooth perfect skin while i try so hard and am sensitive to every little health lifestyle change i implement. regardless, take comfort in the fact that you are taking care of yourself and that if you continue to do so you will will be looking and feeling good for a long time.

    Magnolia - my dh is the same way... go figure! that's okay --- I figure I am in a much better position b/c I can experience great success where he just is the same... I can experience exciting changes b- where he is just the same... (have I convinced myself yet?? lol!!! ;) ) no worries girl -- YOU'RE DOIN GREAT!!
