Getting easier and easier...

Ok, yesterday was better. Started off with a great smoothie. Can't remember what lunch was, or if I ate, I know I was munching on peas most of the morning and some carrots so maybe I wasn't hungry? Supper wasn't the best, but had lots of salad and tomatoes with some cooked stuff. I had incredible cravings last night. I wanted CHOCOLATE! But instead I sliced up some strawberries with a bit of agave and ate that. Cured the sweet craving. THEN I wanted salties..lol. So I had some sliced tomatoe sprinkled with sea salt. I was silly and stayed up really late, so got really hungry, had a 1/4 cup of macadamias, fixed the hunger and ran to bed. Sewing could wait..lol.

I went shopping yesterday for some clothes. How depressing. I HATE clothes shopping. Nothing fits, ever. I only wanted some tanks nad shorts as we are expecting aheat wave and I'm camping. I looked hideous in everything. I NEED to drop some weight. I did before, I didn't gain any back. But I still have 15 lbs to go. I'm determined to slim out some. I hate how I look right now, it's not nice. So, it's back to focus focus focus. I am sewing up a pair of shorts this morning, in hopes to set something that kinda fits. I have been blessed with a waist AND hips, and nothing fits right need a bigger size for hips, so the waist never fits. If the waist measurement fits, it'll NEVER fit over my hips..lol. Too much difference. Gotta take a few inches off the hips.

I'm the exact same way... smaller waist and bigger hips.

I'm the opposite...no butt and all belly. Mens pants actually fit me better than womens. Actually I have a butt but it doesn't look like it cause I'm all belly. lol I feel your pain though. I was thinking just yesterday that I should sew up the side hip area on my new capris so the material won't just flop around. I guess I'll be doing the sit ups while your doing the lunges.

LOL. no, if I do lunges my thighs get BIGGER! Ugh. I sewed up a set of shorts today. They look great on the hanger, but not on me. I could cry! It's so frustrating to have nothing that fits. I would have to get everything altered, and we can barely afford new clothes right now, so altering is outta da question! I even tried second hand stores. No luck. I just wanna go hide under a rock.

I buy skirts that fit me just below the belly button and sit hi on the hips. Then wear a very long shirt to cover my tummy. I won't wear shorts cuz i just look too gross. But here in hawaii - I can opt to wear a sarong with like bathing suit bottoms instead of shorts. Sometimes I wonder who decides what shape clothes should be sewn in... do they know any REAL WOMEN? ;)

I have the same problem. I buy bottoms that fit my hips and then take in the waist, or have a taylor do it. This works well, because I feel like they don't make pants that fit curvy women. The only place I dont' have to do this is when I buy pants when I'm visiting my friends in Austria. H and M often has pants that I don't have to alter.
