Thanks Starfire for all your encouraging words, they actually do make a difference!
However, I should confess that when I asked if using a food processor constituted eating processed foods, that was a joke question. I was going to put said " " face beside it, but I thought it might be funnier if I didn't... I already knew it was a rather lame joke, and that might've added to it's lameness...I don't know if that makes sense.... But you're so sweet, you answered me sincerely :) (...but I was serious about not knowing exactly what it does, so thanks for answering that one too!) ;)
Ok, I feel better, and smarter, now that I got that off my chest!
As for Day 10. I struggled yesterday, I had a fair amount of tempting foods, and made so much of the taco stuff that I was eating it for 3 days in a row and tiring of it. Avocados in general I think. So today I am having a banana chocolate smoothie as I read someone else's post on enjoying them recently. I am a bit nervous to put greens in though, as I tried a banana, mango, greens smoothie and it was tres bitter ...that's me spitting it out, lol.
I lost a big 0.2 pounds yesterday...I weigh 150.8 which is exciting considering 10 days ago I weighed 157. So that's a 6.2 lb weight loss. Very happy about that too.
What have I noticed so far?....
1) My skin is definately getting better looking (I have adult acne).
2) My eyes sparkle somehow, they are whiter yes, but seem to sparkle too.
3) Obviously lost weight.
4) I don't feel ADDICTED TO FOOD anymore.
5) I sleep way better and wake up earlier and much much easier.
6) I catch myself in the mirror and have to do a double take because I just look like I'm having a 'good looking day'....except it keeps happening everyday.
I think that's about it.
On the downside my knees are killing me, and I think it's from curling in the fetal position too much, curling up to the pc, and curling up to Harry Potter....I'm still working through the half blood prince. The amount of reading I have to do in the next 3 months is enormous, as I am also taking a doula course in October and have to have read a bunch of stuff for that too!
Anyways, I hope everyone is excited about their, at times frustrating, journey. It's exciting making such great changes, I feel like an explorer forging a new world, a new way of life...OH I ALMOST FORGOT THE BEST PART!!!! My mom is INSPIRED BY ME ....AND....wants to try going at least half raw too! I feel just fantastic about actually being an inspiration so early in the game
