Tues/ Day 9
I didn't sleep as soundly as usual last night. I kept waking up. It was restfull sleep while it lasted though, I woke up around 3 and was actually feeling refreshed and ready to begin my day...I didn't stay up though, I slept some more and got up at 5 just for the sake of my routine.
Today's foods so far:
-2 tangerines
-handfull of blueberries
-1 fig
-smoothie: red chard, strawberries, banana, flax seed
-1 green bell pepper
-red grapes
-smoothie: parsley, 2 pears, banana
-lentil sprouts
-carrots
-4 figs
I'm still hungry this afternoon, I should have packed more food.
One thing I need to focus on is eating more protein foods. I'm suprised at the amount of protein I'm getting in raw foods, it's more than I thought it would be, but I still need a little more. I need to pack more nuts and seeds to bring to work.
I need to observe what foods give me the most long lasting energy. If I'm here sitting at my desk where I can munch and snack all day, that's one thing... But I need foods that will stick with me and give me intense energy for more than just 20, 30, 40, 50... minute long cardio runs.
Another possible detox symptom: after my run this morning, and after sweating for about 20 minutes, I got an itchy and burning rash under my arms! Something was coming out of my sweat for sure...
