Day 8...and feeling great!
The weekend went quite well! I'm so very happy with my progress.
On Friday night for dinner, I really listened to my body...and sometimes the body requests strange things...but I went with it: a huge bowl of mung bean sprouts, mixed with a mashed avocado, and 2 cloves of garlic. It was so satisfying, I didn't crave anything at all after eating it!
I made my own lentil sprouts, and they turned out well! I'm going to try and have at least one batch of seeds being sprouted at all times, so I'll have a variety of sprouts to eat throughout the week.
I've lost some weight. I'm already wearing my belt one hole tighter than I was two weeks ago.
I bought a bristle body brush over the weekend...something that I've been hearing many raw foodists rave about. It's supposed to be really good for improving circulation (which I have poor circulation to begin with--it's genetic) and it's good for exfoliating the skin so the skin can be free to eliminate more toxins. Who knows, I have read about these brushes from several people, and I though I'd go ahead and give it a try. I used it this morning before showering, and it did feel pretty good.
